DNS Lookup resolves hostnames and/or IP addresses. IP Scanner scans a range of IP addresses for availability. Use TraceRoute to diagnose network problems between your local PC and a remote server. Use Ping to determine whether a specific remote machine is accessible. Finger attempts to retrieve information about users logged onto a remote machine, and Whois retrieves domain information. You can also scan local ports, retrieve a quote of the day, synchronize your system clock, and retrieve your local IP address, Winsock information, and more. Excellent documentation is available."

"There are numerous programs which concentrate on editing ID-tags, but very few which concentrate on the file-name itself, something which I personally find more important. Thankfully MP3 Filename Formatter is available and leading the way. It has a nice easy interface with a graphic toolbar (which is quite helpful), but the greatest feature is the ability to rename 'en masse' according to a specified format (eg. Artist - Title). MP3 Filename Formatter does all the usual renaming activities you would expect such as track, title, artist, genre, etc. If you download MP3s galore but don't want to have to go through them all manually, then this program is for you."
